Each of these films made Schwarzenegger the biggest movie star of the 1980s–only rivalled by that other bulging monosyllabic bicep Sylvester Stallone. Those men of few words action heroes like the sword and sandals beefcake in Conan The Barbarian, or relentless villains like the robot T-800 Model 101 in Terminator, or mercenary soldiers such as John Matrix in Commando and Major Alan “Dutch” Schaeffer in Predator, or just rogue law enforcers as in Raw Deal and The Running Man. I was begging Weir to make it longer but sadly no. I really enjoyed this story but it was just too short! Seven pages just wasn’t enough. As the tour progresses though a spectral figure is spotted in another group. This tour guide is dressed up like Anne Boleyn and looks incredible, everyone is impressed. This little story centres around a tour group who Jo is in charge of and she books a special tour guide to take them all around the Tower. I have always been fascinated by the history of the Tower of London and have often thought it is probably the home to many ghosts so this little story is right up my street. I do not mind though as I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this little story again. I am sure I have read this little story before but I don’t know where from as I have never owned it. ![]() But as she becomes enthralled by the historical accuracy of her tour guide and the dramatic setting that she has come to love, something spectral is lurking in the shadows. But, trouble has a way of finding John, or is it John finding trouble? Either way the first half of hippie tomfoolery, corrupt cops and Constantine eating mushrooms and "finding himself" was fairly awful. It has not aged well.Ĭonstantine is on the run and decides to drop out of normal life and hang out with British hippies. But then half-way through the story really picks up and redeems itself.
